Come join us at Fulmer’s Farmstead 
on Friday and Saturday, April 18-19 2014, as we bring together a community of homesteaders to share 
experiences and knowledge. 



Friday will be filled with WORKSHOPS beginning at 8am and will continue Saturday morning. HORSEDRAWN AUCTION will begin Saturday moring.






WORKSHOPS will feature the following seminars:

*Green Cleaners for the Home
- Emily Deavers will be instructing class participants on how to make natural cleaners for the home. She will also feature a class on herbal home remedies.
*Canning on the Farm
- Kim Conway of H&K Farms will teach water- bath and pressure canning techniques; she will also discuss canning for convenience.
*Old Time Biscuit Making
- Diane Kitchens will lead a workshop on how to make those “melt in your mouth” biscuits like you grandmother!
Growing Grapes in the South
- Dr. Wayne Adams will explain the
techniques of grape agriculture and harvest in the South.
Draft Horse Workshop
- Area teamsters will trade ideas and discuss topics concerning barn systems, safety,
hitching techniques, and more.
